“I joined ICL with the challenge of leading Logistics operations (Transport), and one of the main challenges was organizing and controlling freight payments.
Freight control was done via excel, where we would enter around 1200 CT-E’s/month manually in spreadsheets + verification of CT-E’s. Such workload was done every day by 2 people only and that is how it went for years.
At that time we did not have BID to hire more people or buy software. After a few years, with an increase in the number of CT-E’s we finally got the authorization to buy software.
Through some colleagues we got to know APTUS and did a pilot project which ended up being very successful.
Now we have around 1700 CT-E‘s/month.
